Marcus Vick and the Hokie pokey

Marcus Vick is an idiot. Given the starting job for the Virginia Tech Hokies, all the talent in the world and the opportunity to train in a building named after his brother, he blows it all on tons of bad choices. Everybody makes bad choices, but most of us learn. He misses a whole year b/c of drug charges, then he buys beer for highschool girls then he stomps on an opposing players leg after a play. Then this week, he waves a gun around a McDonald's parking lot. Here is Forbes Magazine Time Line of his problems.

Here is what the AJC's Jeff Shultz said:

"So does this mean Marcus Vick will go to the Hokie pokey, unless he turns himself around? ‘Cuz, that’s what it’s all about.

I mean, if a guy can’t stay out of trouble in college when so much time is occupied by games, practices, workouts and classes (theoretically, anyway), what’s going to happen when he has cash in his pocket as a pro and he’s got nothing but time?

And enough with dumping on Michael Vick for not giving his brother more guidance. Marcus is his own man. Or his own punk."
